We have an exciting opportunity within our Angus services for a dynamic and motivated individual with experience managing teams within the Social Care sector.

You must have the passion and drive to lead teams of frontline staff to support individuals to achieve their personal outcomes and live the life they choose.

This role will operate from our office base in DUNDEE and have responsibility to lead the services provided across Dundee and Angus.

The Team Facilitator will have responsibility for the provision of personalized support services for individuals living within Dundee and Angus who have learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.
The role involves leading, mentoring, supporting and guiding teams of Personal Assistants to ensure that the robust bespoke support strategies for individuals are followed consistently in day to day practice. An essential part of the Team Facilitator role will include supporting the growth and development of ENABLE Scotland's services across Angus and Dundee. This will involve working directly with Care Managers and setting up and developing services.

Bespoke recruitment of Personal Assistants to meet the individual needs of the people we support will be a key element of the role; networking and establishing links locally will be essential.

The Team Facilitator will be required to work flexibility to suit the needs of the individual supported and this will include occasional evenings and weekends. Participation on a rota basis in the provision of a local on call service will also be required.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism and physical support needs.
• Great interpersonal skills and demonstrable partnership working skills are imperative to continuing to work with Multidisciplinary health teams including psychiatrists, psychologists Community Learning Disability nurses and Speech and Language Therapists.
• Experience in using person centred planning techniques in addition to delivering and leading excellent support practices.
• Strong facilitation skills to encourage staff teams to take ownership and responsibility for the quality of support they deliver.
• The ability to effectively communicate with the people we support, staff teams, families and external care professionals.
• Creating and delivering robust service designs, support strategies and risk assessments whilst managing individual budgets.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working under pressure.
• Demonstrate knowledge of supporting young people with transitions/through transitional periods
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.
