Do you have what it takes to make a difference?

Would you like to do something different next Monday morning? To forget the never-ending 9-5 and make a real difference to someone’s life? Or maybe you are already working in social care and want to join an organisation with values at its core?

Well this may be the opportunity you have been looking for…..

We have an exciting vacancy within Buckie for a confident, approachable and motivated person to support Jane within her own home and out and about in the community.

Here’s a little more about Jane:
“People who know me will say that it takes time for me to trust and build up a relationship. I am a friendly person. I am a bubbly person with a good sense of humour and I like listening to music. I require 1-1 support at all times when out and about.”

I attend a Day Service on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I require support around the hours of day service. I enjoy going to local clubs and discos. I enjoy make up and beauty. I like to go swimming in Forres.

We require female only personal assistants over the age of 21. A full UK drivers license is also essential.

If you think you could share the same interests and have the commitment to support Jane/to get the most out of life, this might be the opportunity for you.

If successful your role will include:
• Supporting Jane to social activities within the community
• Assisting with shopping
• Helping with household chores
• Attending health appointments

This is a permanent post working as and when required between the hours of 07.00 am- 10:00am or 07:00-16:00, 16:00- 23:00pm over 7 days a week with approximately one in 4 weekends off. There may be occasions when you will be required to work out with these hours and notice will be given in advance. No Sleepovers and the service is subject to change.

At ENABLE Scotland we believe in developing all our staff and provide an extensive training programme, combined with a commitment to create career development opportunities including SVQ Level 2.

Remember this is #morethanajob – it’s the first step to you making a difference and beginning your career with an award winning charity with its values at its core
