Do you have what it takes to make a difference?

Would you like to do something different next Monday morning? To forget the never-ending 9-5 and make a real difference to someone’s life? Or maybe you are already working in social care and want to join an organisation with values at its core?

Well this may be the opportunity you have been looking for…..
ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and we have an exciting opportunity for you to support Jane/John in Buckie to make the most of their life.

That could mean supporting them to live independently in their own home or take part in activities we take for granted. And, who knows, it could make a difference to your life as well

Here’s a little more about Jane:

“People who know me will say that it takes time for me to trust and build up a relationship. I am a friendly person. I am a bubbly person with a good sense of humour. I like enjoy listening to music. I require 1-1 support at all times when out and about.”

I attend a Day Service locally but hope to give this up to undertake paid employment.

I enjoy going to local clubs and discos. I enjoy make up and beauty. I like to go swimming in Forres.

I require female only personal assistants over the age of 21. A full UK drivers licence is also essential.

If you think you could share the same interests and have the commitment to support Jane to get the most out of life, this might be the opportunity for you.
If successful your role will include:
• Supporting Jane to social activities within the community
• Assisting with shopping
• Helping with household chores
• Attending health appointments

This is a temporary post - covering 9 months maternity, working 70 hours per month and requires full flexibility between 7am - 10pm over 7 days a week with approximately 2 out of 4 weekends off. There may occasions when you will be required to work out with these hours and notice will be given in advance. Jane will require sleepover support for the first 10 weeks of moving into her new property.

If you think you could share the same interests and have the commitment to support Jane to get the most out of life please click the link to apply now.
