We have an exciting vacancy within the Kingsknowe area in Edinburgh for confident and motivated people to support Jane within her own home and out and about in the community.

Here’s a little more about Jane:

“I am a young woman planning to move into my own home this summer and looking forward to building my independence. Some of my interests at the moment are keeping up to date with the Australian soap Neighbours, listening to music, chatting, going to the cinema (I really enjoy Rom Coms!), I enjoy being read to and most of all I enjoy Christmas time!”

If you think you could share the same interests and have the commitment to support Jane to get the most out of life, this might be the opportunity for you.

If successful your role will include:
• Assisting with shopping
• Assisting with my personal care
• Assistance with mobility aid
• Assisting with food preparation
• Helping with household chores
• Attending health appointments
• Planning and engaging in Social Activities

We have several permanent posts available working between 40 and 128 hours every 4 weeks. Typical hours of support are Monday – Friday and include:

• 8.30am - 1.30pm
• 1.30pm – 6.30pm
• 6.30pm – 8.30am including sleepover

Please include in your application your preferred hours and availability.
There may be occasions when you will be required to work out with these hours and notice will be given in advance.

At ENABLE Scotland we believe in developing all our staff and provide an extensive training programme, combined with a commitment to create career development opportunities including SVQ Level 2. We also provide excellent employee benefits including a Contributory Pension Scheme and an Employee Healthcare Plan.
